Compass Pro (“the app”) is published by Boss Productions (“we”). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The app has no accounts and we do not run a server that stores your personal data.
The app uses your device’s precise and approximate location to show coordinates, altitude, heading, weather and your position on a map. Location is used only while the app is open. The app does not access location in the background.
The app reads the magnetometer, accelerometer and other motion sensors to work as a compass and level. The torch feature switches on your device flashlight. Sensor readings are processed on your device and are not sent to us.
Your settings, saved locations, tracking records and emergency contacts are stored on your device. We do not receive them. Uninstalling the app or using Clear Cache in Settings removes this data.
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the services listed above, to run the app.
Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. To ask about or delete data held by our service providers (for example purchase records), email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
